So I mentioned to one or two people that I felt a little weird that everything was going so smoothly. I was getting support from the boyfriend, the parents, the boss. I had quickly identified a tenant to sublet my apartment. I had gotten my passport documents submitted without issue. It just seemed like things were working out too perfectly.
